What isANTIOX-C™ Magnesium Ascorbyl Powder (MAP)
ANTIOX-C™ Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (MAP) powder is a water-soluble, generally non-irritating, stable derivative of Vitamin C and is a potent skin antioxidant.
When used topically in a serum, cream, or masque, MAP has the same potential as vitamin C to support skin's collagen and elastin, resulting in firmer, smoother and more youthful skin appearance, with diminished appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and blemishes; yet, MAP is effective in significantly lower concentrations.
Warnings: Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate is generally considered more gentle than traditional Vitamin C and therefore is milder on sensitive skin. However, those with sensitive skin may need to be aware of Vitamin C’s acidic and exfoliating effects.

Suggested usage: 3 to 5% as skin anti-oxidant and anti-ageing; up to 10% for evening out skin tone.

Stability and Suggested pH: may discolor in pH <6, best when used in emulsion based products at pH between 5.5-7. pH value: 7.0-8.5.
